A Chocolate Cafe' by
Marcel Desaulniers, award-winning chef and author of Death by Chocolate, opened MAD about Chocolate April 2012. Renowned for his gooey and chunky cookies, Double MAD brownies, and the beloved savory cheesecake, Marcel also offers chocolates - including MAD-made as well as small batch chocolates from artisan chocolatiers.
All can be enjoyed in the art-filled cafe or taken out.
MAD about Chocolate is located in the heart of Williamsburg, within a block of the College of William & Mary and Colonial Williamsburg's Merchants Square.
Our cheesecake is savory - not sweet - and loaded with a variety of cheese, veggies and sometimes meat. We serve it at MAD about Chocolate with a lovely side of micro-greens and Marcel's fresh lemon vinaigrette dressing. It is also available by the slice to go, or you can order a whole cheesecake (serves 10), or an appetizer tray. See more about the menu here.
